Magic Wand selection refinements

When using the Magic Wand selection, you can change the tolerance level to refine your selection, either adding or removing content from the selection. 

As you move the slider, you immediately see how this has affected your selection.

Refining your Magic Wand selection in Sketchbook Pro for desktop

  1. Tap Selection.
  2. Choose Magic Wand selection in the mobile version of Sketchbook.
  3. Tap the color you want selected.
  4. Tap-drag the Tolerance slider to either narrow or broaden the selection.



Refining your Magic Wand selection in Sketchbook for mobile devices

The version of Sketchbook you are using will determine the UI you will see.

For handheld device users

  1. In the toolbar, tap Tools icon in the mobile version of Sketchbook, then Select icon and select a tool from the Selection toolbar.
  2. Tap Magic Wand selection in the mobile version of Sketchbook Magic Wand.
  3. Tap the color you want selected.
  4. Tap-drag the Tolerance slider to either narrow or broaden the selection.


For tablet users

  1. In the toolbar, tap Select icon and select a tool from the Selection toolbar.
  2. Tap Magic Wand selection in the mobile version of Sketchbook Magic Wand.
  3. Tap the color you want selected.
  4. Tap-drag the Tolerance slider to either narrow or broaden the selection.
